Shiitake Log Workshop

Learn how to grow your own shiitake mushrooms at home using the time-tested log method. In this hands-on class, you’ll discover how to choose the right type of wood, drill and inoculate your log with shiitake spawn, and care for it over time to produce fresh, flavorful mushrooms.

Each participant will create their own shiitake log and take it home, along with the knowledge to successfully maintain it. No experience is necessary—just come ready to learn and get your hands dirty. All tools and materials are provided.

Additional pre-inoculated logs will be available for purchase at the end of the workshop for those who want to expand their homegrown mushroom setup.
